Jimsan Smart Agri Limited is a registered company in Nigeria since 2019 as a Limited Liability Company. We specialize in Primary production in Agriculture using Precision Agricultural principles for better yield, which involves the prevention of soil degradation, reduce chemical application in crop production, efficient use of water resources and disseminating modern farm practices to improve quality, quantity and reduce cost of production.
The owners of Jimsan developed interest in Precision Agriculture and food industry sometimes 2014, when they came across a data from World Health Organisation (WHO) which says approximately 462 million adult worldwide were underweight, while 1.9 billion were either overweight or obese. Around 45% of deaths among children under 5 years of age are linked to under nutrition. This mostly occur in low and middle income countries. Nigeria has the second highest burden of stunted children in the world, with a national prevalence rate of 32% of children under five.
This information gave rise to establishment of Jimsan Smart Agri Limited, with the view to provide highly nutritious and affordable food to Nigerians and indeed over growing population of Africa. Our unique value preposition is the effective use of technology and innovation in Agriculture.
Our promoter Abubakar Sa'idu Dansadau is a renowned farmer, traditional food processor and a business development expert for more than two (2) decades, his leadership style has been instrumental to the success of our company coupled with global practices of today's management system.
